All eyes will be on Team Shuster, led by five-time Olympian John Shuster. The reigning champions have been an unstoppable force, claiming every national title since 2017 . With a lineup boasting Chris Plys, Colin Hufman, Matt Hamilton, and John Landsteiner, Shuster aims to extend their winning streak and secure their place in curling history.

Team Dropkin, known as "The Young Bucks," are determined to seize the crown and dethrone Shuster. Their remarkable upset over Shuster at last year's Nationals demonstrated their potential, but their eventual second-place loss to him in the finals at the American Dream Mall highlighted just how close they are to reaching the top, showcasing their incredible talent and unwavering determination to go all the way.


Adding to the intrigue is the rivalry between Shuster and Team Casper, skipped by Daniel Casper . With both skips vying for a spot in the 2026 Olympic Team Trials, the intensity on the ice will be palpable.   


Rising Stars and New Faces


The 2025 Nationals will also witness the rise of new talent. Team Wendling, led by Wes Wendling, will make their Nationals debut after a triumphant win at the 2025 Junior Men's Nationals . Coached by Ann Swisshelm, these young curlers are ready to challenge the established order .   


Adding depth to the competition are Team Dunnam, skipped by two-time Junior Nationals medalist Scott Dunnam , and Team Sinnett, with Chase Sinnett at the helm .
